The future of the packaging industry

Next to the introduction of the new packaging law on 1st January 2019, the demand for more environmentally friendly and recyclable packaging is becoming increasingly important for the society. The requirements for packaging manufacturers to offer appropriate concepts and solutions are growing rapidly.

The assessment of recyclability is based on the current situation of sorting and separating packaging. Principally, the goal of packaging disposal is pursued on a sustainable and competition-neutral basis. In addition to a significant increase in the proportion for material recycling, some standards and specifications will also be tightened up with the new packaging law.
